Anna has been with the Alligators from the very start as a passionate bookseller and our in-house illustrator, whose artwork often brightens up our window, door and A-boards. She is an avid reader and is especially fascinated by Victorian history, the Gothic, and beautifully illustrated books. Anna graduated from Camberwell College of Arts with an MA in Illustration in 2018, and her work often explores the inner anatomical workings of people and beasts. In 2021, one of her illustrations was chosen to be featured in a limited edition Folio Society collection of Philip K. Dick's Short Stories. Anna's seasonal artworks never fail to transform The Alligator's Mouth into a beautiful and inviting space all year round, and we are always delighted to see what illustration she is planning next.
